Using Technical Indicators

Indicators are mathematical calculations plotted on the chart to help you identify trends, momentum, and potential reversals. Tap the 📈 icon on the chart toolbar to add them.

Moving Average (MA)

Smooths price data to show the direction of a trend. The 50 MA and 200 MA crossover is a popular signal.

RSI (Relative Strength Index)

Measures momentum on a scale of 0–100. Above 70 signals overbought; below 30 signals oversold.

MACD

Shows the relationship between two moving averages. A signal line crossover can indicate entry or exit points.

Bollinger Bands

Show volatility. Price touching the upper band may be overbought; the lower band may be oversold.

Stochastic Oscillator

Compares closing prices to a price range over time. Good for identifying reversal points in ranging markets.

ATR (Average True Range)

Measures volatility. Useful for setting realistic stop-loss distances based on current market conditions.
